This week has been full of exciting learning and experiences for our Year 2 children!

šŸ”¬ ScienceIn Science, the children have been exploring how plants grow. They learned about what makes a plant healthy or unhealthy and investigated what plants need to survive, such as water, light, and nutrients. The class also examined a variety of seeds, including those found inside different fruits, which sparked lots of curiosity and discussion. šŸŒ±šŸŽšŸŒ»

šŸƒā€ā™‚ļøĀ PEThe children thoroughly enjoyed their session with the PE service. They took part in a range of fun activities designed to develop their ball skills, balance and coordination. It was fantastic to see their confidence and teamwork grow throughout the session.

šŸ’¼ Careers SessionWe were delighted to welcome Colleen and Jo, who delivered an engaging careers talk. The children learned about working as a journalist and in the antiques trade. They asked thoughtful questions and showed great interest in the different roles and experiences shared.

It has been a wonderful week of learning, discovery and enjoyment—well done, Year 2! šŸŽ‰
