This week in Year 6 has been full of reflection and achievement. Our class worship group led us thoughtfully through our theme of service, linking it to the reading of The Washing of the Feet. We spent some quiet time reflecting on how we can serve others, finishing with the hymn ‘Servant King’, which brought the worship together beautifully.

We have also been very impressed by the effort some pupils have put into writing and presenting their own speeches. They spoke confidently about topics that mattered to them, including Newcastle, resilience, and the environment.

We ended the week in PE with target practice, where Year 6 worked hard to improve their aim and achieved some great results. Well done, Year 6!
