Year 5 have had a fantastic term! They have enjoyed exploring a range of exciting topics, including forces in Science, Creation and Covenant in RE, climate in Geography and search engines in Computing.

In Maths, the children have been learning about square numbers, prime numbers and cube numbers, as well as taking part in some challenging problem-solving activities. They have shown great determination and enthusiasm when tackling these tricky challenges.

As part of Black History Month, we have explored the work of some fabulous artists and created our own artwork inspired by their styles and techniques. In DT, the children have designed and created their own pop-up books.

We have also enjoyed reading lots of fantastic stories in English, which have inspired the children to produce some lovely pieces of written work. It has been lovely to see the children getting to know their special friends and building positive relationships with one another.

Well done, Year 5, for all your hard work, creativity and enthusiasm this term. We are very proud of everything you have achieved! 😊
