What a wonderful week we have had here in Year 5!

French Day was a huge success, with everyone enjoying a visit to our French café, where we ordered our snacks and drinks in French. It was a lovely way to spend a Wednesday! We also learnt lots of interesting facts about Switzerland and took part in some fun activities based around food and the French language.

In RE this week, we explored the Creation story and discussed our responsibility to care for the world. We learnt about different countries that are being affected by climate change and industrialisation, and talked about the ways we can all help to protect our planet.

Sports Day was another fantastic event, with everyone taking part enthusiastically in a range of exciting races.

We also visited Northern Stage for our technical rehearsal for tonight's performance of The Tempest. We are all incredibly excited to perform later this evening!
