Year 6 have been developing some important life skills this week! 🗺️

In Geography, the children have been learning how to read maps and use grid references to locate places accurately. These skills will be incredibly useful as they prepare for their upcoming residential visit to the Lake District, where map-reading and navigation will play an important role in their outdoor adventures.

In their RHE lessons, pupils explored ways they can help and support others in an emergency. They learned about the recovery position and discussed how providing assistance can help keep someone safe while waiting for professional help.

We are proud of the enthusiasm and maturity Year 6 have shown while learning these valuable skills that will benefit them both now and in the future. ⭐
