Year 6 have had an exciting and inspiring day as part of Languages and Careers Week!
The class explored different careers and learned about Pierce Kiembi and his role working in football . Pupils discovered how speaking multiple languages can be incredibly helpful for communicating with people from many different countries and backgrounds.
We were also delighted to welcome visiting author Naomi, who read her brand new book to the class. She then challenged the pupils to create their own short stories inspired by a similar theme. Year 6 have been very busy developing imaginative characters and exciting plot ideas – we can’t wait to see the finished stories!
