Small Electrical Recycling Challenge!

Our Eco Council are excited to be taking part in Newcastle City Council’s International E-Waste Day recycling challenge!

From 28th September – 9th October, we’ll have a special recycling bin in school for families to donate their unwanted small electrical items.

You can bring in items such as:

 Cables and chargers

 Hair dryers

 Games controllers

 Printers

 Other small household electrical items

Even better… it’s a competition!  Schools collecting the most electrical waste will win prizes, so we’d love our whole school community to get involved!

All items collected will be recycled locally at a specialist facility in Gateshead, helping to reduce waste and support a more sustainable North East.

Have a look through those drawers and cupboards at home and see what unwanted electricals you can find! Every item counts!
