Year 5 have had an incredibly crafty and creative week!
They have produced a wonderful range of handmade cards, decorations and festive wreaths, each one showing great imagination and attention to detail. Our Lunchtime Craft Club also impressed us by creating a fantastic giant tablecloth for the classroom, bringing an extra splash of colour and cheer to our learning space.
In maths, the children have enjoyed tackling a variety of Christmas-themed problem-solving activities, applying their reasoning skills in fun and festive ways. Over in English, they have completed their biographies, which are an absolute delight to read; it’s clear how much effort and thought has gone into each piece of writing.
In science, Year 5 have been exploring the mysteries of the night sky. They have designed eye-catching posters all about constellations, demonstrating both their scientific knowledge and artistic flair.
It has been a busy, joyful and productive week—well done, Year 5!
