Year 5 have had a brilliant week in school. As well as preparing for our Easter production, we have been practising our songs for our upcoming Celebration of the Word.
In RE, we have been thinking about the importance of Lent. The children created some wonderful acrostic poems, showcasing how we should live as followers of Jesus.
In English, we have been collecting lots of vocabulary and using ‘Zones of Relevance’ to help us sort and rank the most powerful words for our writing. The children enjoyed discussing which words would have the greatest impact.
