Year 5 have had another brilliant week at school! To launch our new History topic, we began by exploring the fascinating timeline of British history. Working in groups, the children were each given a different time period to research before confidently presenting their findings to the class.

We then brought all of our learning together by creating an impressive class timeline in the form of a giant jigsaw. It was fantastic to see how each piece connected, helping us understand how different periods fit together to tell the story of Britain’s past.

This week’s Celebration of the Word was beautifully planned, with carefully chosen scripture, reflective music, and thoughtful discussions about how we can pray and stay connected with God.
