On Friday, Year 5 led a wonderful Celebration of the Word, focusing on the Annunciation and the role of Mary. They thoughtfully linked this to Red Nose Day and the important work carried out by Comic Relief, reflecting on the theme of loving your neighbour.

In Maths this week, we began our new topic on graphs. The children particularly enjoyed creating their own line graphs and interpreting the data.

English lessons have been great fun, as the children have been inventing their own mnemonics to help them remember how to spell tricky words.

The children also took part in the Stations of the Cross, using art as a way to remember and reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice. This was a meaningful and reflective experience for everyone involved.
