Year 5 have had a brilliant week at school. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the CAFOD Lenten Walk, which provided a special opportunity to spend time with friends while reflecting on the meaning of Lent and how we can share its message in our daily lives.

The Easter performance at church was a huge success. Retelling the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection in such a beautiful setting made the occasion even more special. The children read fantastically, acted amazingly, and their singing brought tears to our eyes.

In art this term, the children have enjoyed sketching and printing. They worked incredibly hard to transform their sketches into wonderful prints, and they should be very proud of their efforts.

In science, we concluded our topic on life cycles by studying the work of the brilliant Jane Goodall. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and produced some excellent work.
