Year 5 have had a brilliant end to a fantastic term. This week, the classroom was transformed into a French café, where the children had the opportunity to try a range of French drinks and share their opinions on them — in French, of course! It was a lovely way to end a wonderful topic.
In RE, we have been learning all about Pentecost and, as we prepare to celebrate this feast on Sunday, we created prayers to thank the Holy Spirit for working through the disciples.

We also had a visit from Northern Stage, where Zoe came to help with our rehearsals for The Tempest. The children worked hard on developing their acting skills, focusing on expression, movement and delivering their lines clearly and confidently. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and growing confidence as they brought the characters and scenes to life.
