Year 2 have had a busy week!
In English, the focus was on using verbs to write command sentences, and the children also practised using the conjunction and in their writing.
In maths, they continued to consolidate their understanding of tens and ones.
In geography, Year 2 used maps to locate the world’s oceans, and in science they explored how fish survive in their habitats.
In art , the children experimented with chalk, pastel, crayon, and charcoal. They enjoyed exploring the different textures and effects each material created.
It has been a great week of learning and fun!
