This week, Year 1 have been having lots of fun in the sun! They enjoyed a workshop with Harry from the PE service where they developed their multi-skills. They also worked with Liam from LSSC, taking part in team challenges to build their cooperation and sporting skills.
In Maths, the children have been practising skip counting and in English they continued exploring Lunbna and Pebble. They also learned how to use the word but to extend their sentences.
Year 1 shared a lovely worship with their families, where they told the story of Pentecost and spoke about the Holy Spirit. In RE, they have been planning a Pentecost party, where they will celebrate the birthday of the church. They loved making birthday cards!
In Geography, the children went on a fact-finding hunt to learn more about the four nations of the UK.
They had lots of fun in their Music workshop with Piccolo and enjoyed spending some time with their special friends.
