This week in Year 5, the children have thoroughly enjoyed their writing lessons inspired by our new text, Robot Girl by Malorie Blackman. We debated the role of AI, explored how robots are used both domestically and commercially, and delved into the fascinating world of science fiction.
In geography, we have been studying temperate climates. The children particularly enjoyed using atlases to locate countries with temperate conditions and learning how animals and plants have adapted to thrive in these environments.
We brought our RE topic to a close with a beautiful class Celebration of the Word, listening to meaningful scripture and creating some wonderful, spirit-filled artwork.
