Welcome from our Headteacher

Mr P Marley

I am delighted to welcome you to St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School.

Within our school, we seek to create a happy, friendly and supportive environment, where every child has the opportunity to develop spiritually, intellectually and socially. It is the aim of everyone in our school to help the children grow in their journey of faith – Gospel values are at the centre of everything we do.

Children are encouraged to aim for the highest possible standards by providing a range of exciting opportunities and experiences within our broad and balanced curriculum.

Our dedicated staff play an integral role in fostering a family atmosphere, where children feel secure and are able to thrive. This, combined with excellent teaching and high expectations of behaviour, provides a solid foundation for children of all abilities to make progress.

We acknowledge the essential role that you as a parent play in the education process and by working in close partnership, we want our unique children to reach their full learning potential and be able to unlock all of their special gifts and talents.

I am confident that together we will make St Oswald’s a vibrant place for your children to learn, grow and become the very best they can be in preparation for the next stage in their education.
