Year 6 had an exciting and inspiring visit to Nissan today, where they learned all about how cars are made. We explored how construction lines work and discovered the importance of teamwork and organisation in large-scale production. Year 6 visited the Theatre Royal today to see the new musical ‘Wierd’ — and they loved it! Amazing songs, gripping special effects, and plenty of wow moments. A fantastic morning out for everyone! This week in Year 6 has been full of reflection and achievement. Our class worship group led us thoughtfully through our theme of service , linking it to the reading of The Washing of the Feet . We spent some quiet time reflecting on how we can serve others, finishing with the hymn ‘Servant King’ , which brought the worship together beautifully. Year 6 have begun to design the base for their buzzer game. They thought carefully about the design and how the net of the shape would mean that some of the images would have to be drawn up-side-down to be correct when put together.

Not only can Year 6 complete crafts in English - they can do it in French too! Year 6 followed instructions on French and created an origami tree to decorate. They then wrote about what was on their trees in French. Tres Bien, Year 6!
