Year 6

Y6 have had great fun in French. They have been learning about their body and movements. All of this knowledge was put to the test when they had to complete a dance routine!

Y6 have enjoyed talking about 'sources' as part of their current RE topic. Today, they have worked in small groups to develop their understanding of how to find references using the Bible.

Year 6 have begun to design the base for their buzzer game. They thought carefully about the design and how the net of the shape would mean that some of the images would have to be drawn up-side-down to be correct when put together.

An amazing performance in Sacred Heart Church by Year 5 and Year 6. They worked well as a team to spread the message of hope, peace and joy at Christmas. Have a very Merry Christmas, and thank you for all your support, cards and gifts.  🎄✨

Not only can Year 6 complete crafts in English - they can do it in French too! Year 6 followed instructions on French and created an origami tree to decorate. They then wrote about what was on their trees in French. Tres Bien, Year 6!

Year 6 have worked well together to create Angels of Hope. They have made some for the local community and some for themselves to help spread hope and joy during Advent.

KS2 had a brilliant party day 🎉🕺💃 Lots of dancing, laughter and celebrating with friends made it a day to remember! What a fantastic way to enjoy time together 🥳✨

Year 6 have enjoyed their French lessons with Madame Hewson. They decided to create a booklet to show case their knowledge to share with their families.

Year 6 have been learning about the circulatory system in as part of their science topic this half term. Today they have learned about the heart in more detail. They have worked well to make their own model heart out of paper and labelled the parts.

Year 6 enjoyed a busy Friday. They have seen their special friends and enjoyed raising money for Children in Need too.
