Today, Father Michael celebrated Mass with us  It was a truly special time of worship, with everyone reading, singing, and praying so beautifully. We are so proud of the reverence and participation shown by all.

It was lovely to see our Spiritual Movement Club in action.  They moved with such grace and reverence, worshipping in a truly creative and inspiring way.

Year 6 have been taking time this Lent to reflect on how they can grow in love, kindness, patience and forgiveness.  Building on the seeds they planted last week, the children created beautiful hearts filled with ideas about the kind things they have done and the kind things they can do for others. Year 3 led a beautiful Celebration of the Word, inviting everyone to reflect on their journey through Lent and the sacrifice Jesus made in the desert. The children represented their Lenten promises by creating a crown of thorns, reminding us that through our own sacrifices we journey with Jesus towards his death and resurrection. It was a thoughtful and prayerful time for our school community.

Today, Year 1 took part in their Lenten challenge to Plant and Pray . They planted their seeds and reflected on how kindness, patience and faith can help them grow into the best versions of themselves. After planting their seeds, the children decided what they will try to do during Lent, such as praying each day, helping at home and spreading kindness to others. A group of our Year 4 pupils led their peers in a beautiful Celebration of the Word based on the theme of forgiveness. They spoke confidently, shared thoughtful reflections and helped everyone take time to think about the importance of saying sorry and forgiving others. Well done to all involved for leading such a meaningful moment of prayer and reflection.

Year 1 were delighted to worship with their families today as they celebrated the end of their RE unit on Meals. The children prayed, sang and read beautifully, sharing what they have learned throughout the topic. The Celebration of the Word ended with a wonderful liturgical movement to the Lord’s Prayer using BSL, which was a very special moment for everyone who attended. Well done, Year 1!

We are so proud of the reverence, confidence and care they showed in leading such a special time of reflection.

Year 6 confidently led the whole school in worship this morning. They shared thoughtful reflections on the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and encouraged everyone to think about how we can show love, kindness, patience and self-control in our daily lives to become the best versions of ourselves. What a wonderful couple of days for Year 2! On Friday, they led a beautiful Celebration of the Word with their families, and this morning they led the whole school in worship. They prayed, read and moved thoughtfully as they shared their learning about the special books we use in Mass. A very reverent and meaningful experience for everyone.

This week in Year 6 has been full of reflection and achievement. Our class worship group led a thoughtful and meaningful worship centred on the theme of service, linking beautifully to the reading The Washing of the Feet. We shared a quiet moment of reflection, thinking about how we can serve others in our daily lives, and finished with the hymn ‘Servant King’, which brought the worship together perfectly. A truly calm and inspiring time for everyone involved.

Year 5 really enjoy planning and delivering their weekly Celebration of the Word. This week’s theme was service, and the children chose some wonderful music to beautifully accompany the scripture reading. A thoughtful and reflective time together.

Year 4 pupils led a beautiful class Celebration of the Word focused on Service. They shared readings about the call of Samuel and reflected thoughtfully on how we can listen, respond and serve others in our daily lives.

This morning, our Faith In Action team led us in a beautiful Advent Reflection A thoughtful and prayerful time as we prepare our hearts during this special season.

This morning, Mrs Mooney led us in worship, reminding us about the end of the Jubilee Year and the message of the Angels of Hope . She set us a special mission — to create angels to share hope and kindness within our community.  Year 6 have already created their angels and passed some to the SVP. They also have more ready to be shared around the local area or given to someone special who may need a little hope and joy. A wonderful example of living out our faith through love

Today, lots of our school family joined us at Sacred Heart Church to celebrate Bambinelli Sunday Children brought their knitted baby Jesus to be blessed by Father Michael, marking this special tradition on the Third Sunday of Advent. Our Christmas Choir then sang beautifully for families and parishioners, spreading festive cheer to all. We also presented the SVP with the Angels of Hope that the children in school have made as part of the celebration of the end of the Year of

Thank you to our wonderful prayer leaders in Year 2 for a lovely time of worship today. They reflected on the parable of the Lost Sheep and shared a beautiful reminder of God’s love for each one of us.

Year 5 joined other Catholic schools at St Mary’s Cathedral for a beautiful Christmas Carol Service today. They sang wonderfully and prayed together to begin the festive season.
