Welcome back and welcome to Year 2.

The children have settled really well over the last 3 weeks.

We have started some great new units of learning across all curriculum areas. In geography, we have been linking back to our on continents and oceans and in science we have been learning about different animal groups and basic needs for survival.

Our first class story book is The Twits by Roald Dahl.

This week, the children have written their first piece of extended writing, a story about a little girl and her dragon.

we will be starting our new art unit next week. Can I ask that children bring in an oversized t-shirt to keep their uniform clean.
