Year 3 loved their Quidditch taster session with Active Future Newcastle this morning! The children were thrilled to have the opportunity to learn how to play a game inspired by one of their favourite book series. There was fantastic teamwork, determination and excitement on display as the children competed in their houses. A huge well done to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin for their brilliant effort and sportsmanship throughout the session!

This week in Year 5, we have had great fun preparing for our performance of The Tempest. We had a special visitor from Northern Stage who helped us with our rehearsals, and in Drama Club this week we began making costumes. Our English lessons have been based on the wonderful book Curiosity: The Story of a Mars Rover by Markus Motum. We even submitted our own proposals to NASA!

As the children voted for a “Morris Mystery Reward”, Mrs Morris arranged a surprise "Ice Cream Parlour" treat for the children.
