Year 3 have started an exciting new unit of learning in Computing, focusing on programming and coding.
To begin their learning, the children had the opportunity to explore and 'tinker' with the Scratch programming programme. They investigated its different features, discovered the tools available and experimented with the possibilities for creating their own programmes.
There was lots of excitement as the children tried out different coding blocks, tested their ideas and explored what they could make happen on screen. We had great fun experimenting with different codes and can't wait to see what the children create as their programming skills develop!
