Year 6 had an unforgettable time on their residential visit to Borrowdale in the beautiful Lake District. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, enjoying glorious sunshine throughout the trip, making it the perfect opportunity to make the most of the fantastic outdoor activities on offer.
The children threw themselves into a range of exciting challenges, including ghyll scrambling, canoeing, rock climbing and hill walking. With the warm weather, the water-based activities were especially popular, providing plenty of laughter, adventure and the chance to cool off!
Throughout the residential, the children showed outstanding teamwork, determination and resilience. They encouraged one another, stepped outside their comfort zones and tackled every challenge with enthusiasm and positive attitudes.
Away from the activities, there was lots of time to relax, laugh and make lasting memories together. Whether sharing stories after a busy day, enjoying meals as a group or simply taking in the stunning scenery of the Lake District, the children represented our school brilliantly at every opportunity.
