Year 1 have had another fantastic week full of learning and new experiences!
š§The children loved their first session with Julie, where they enjoyed lots of stretching and movement inspired by our English text, Cave Baby. It was a brilliant way to bring their learning to life!
āļø In English, Year 1 have been learning how to make their writing more interesting by expanding nouns using adjectives. They worked together to think of some fantastic describing words for the animals in Cave Baby.
š¢ In Maths, the children have been developing their number knowledge by counting forwards and backwards. They have worked hard to become more confident when starting their counting from different numbers.
šIn RE, Year 1 have continued their learning about Creation. They have been looking carefully at the wonderful world around them and thinking about how Godās Creation can inspire us. The children enjoyed reflecting on the beauty of nature and the many wonderful things we can be thankful for.
