Year 3 have started their prehistoric paintings unit in their art lessons, which links nicely to our Stone Age topic in History. We have looked at how Stone Age people used artwork to tell us what their lives were like and depict the things that were important to them.
We thought about how we could represent what life was like in Britain in 2026 for people 5000 years in the future and how we could show the wildlife that was native to our country.
We used charcoal which would have been similar to the materials used by the people in the Stone Age to practise our sketching skills.
