As part of their work on Judaism, Year 5 created Mezuzahs as they have been learning about the importance of the Shema prayer. They have enjoyed learning all about Jewish celebrations and asked some very thoughtful questions.

In PE this term, we have been creating dance routines linked to the theme 'dance by chance'. This is proved very popular with the class and a lot of children have spent lunch and break times practising their moves.

We have been learning all about hyphens in our English lessons and had great fun looking at compound nouns using hyphens.

Our class Celebrations of the Word this term are planned by a small group of children using the theme 'joy'. This week's group chose beautiful scripture from The Book of Psalms all about happiness.
