In English, the children have been comparing different versions of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They explored how the events change across retellings and discussed the similarities and differences. They then considered the story from both Goldilocks’ perspective and the Three Bears’ perspective, thinking about how each character might feel and why.

In DT, the children have been learning about different techniques for attaching two pieces of felt. They experimented with a stapler, glue, pins, and tape, then evaluated their work to decide which method was the most effective.

We also had a wonderful trip to see Father Christmas and Mrs Claus. We heard some lovely stories and the children each came away with a special gift to keep
