What a fantastic week Year 1 have had!
In Computing, the children became digital storytellers during their Digital Imagery unit. They planned their own picture stories, took photographs and used Pic Collage to create exciting pages complete with captions. The children loved seeing their creative ideas come to life!
In RE, Year 1 continued learning about Pentecost. They thoughtfully designed beautiful birthday cards for the Church and began planning a special class Celebration of the Word linked to this important celebration.
DT was full of fun and surprises as the children explored a range of vegetables through tasting activities. There were lots of excited reactions as they discovered new flavours, textures and favourite foods!
Meanwhile, in Geography, the classroom was filled with singing and teamwork as the children learned all about the seven continents and five oceans. Catchy songs helped everyone remember their names before the children worked together brilliantly to label a world map.
Well done, Year 1, for another week of enthusiastic learning and creativity!
