We have had a fantastic time taking part in a range of exciting learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.

The children enjoyed exploring texture through creative art activities. Using paint and a variety of tools and materials, they experimented with making different marks, patterns and effects. They investigated how everyday objects could create unique textures, developing their understanding through hands-on exploration, curiosity and imaginative play.

Our learning about the Great Fire of London has also been a great success. The children were fascinated to discover how the fire started, why it spread so quickly and the impact it had on London. Through a variety of engaging activities, they brought this important historical event to life and developed a deeper understanding of the past while asking thoughtful questions and sharing their ideas.

We also had a wonderful visit to Scotswood Gardens, where the children enjoyed learning in the outdoor environment. They took part in hands-on activities, explored the gardens and discovered more about the natural world around them. It was a fantastic opportunity to work together, build new skills and enjoy new experiences outside the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of the children's enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to try new things. Their creativity, teamwork and love of learning have shone throughout these experiences.

A big thank you for all your kind words, gifts and cards. It has been a real pleasure to get to know your children this year.
